Digital Vision appoints post industry veteran
Dan Germain as Senior Product Manager
Stockholm, Sweden – 8 May, 2008 – Digital Vision, the premier provider of picture enhancement systems for film and television post-production, today announced the appointment of post industry veteran, Dan Germain to the position of Senior Product Manager. Germain who joined Digital Vision in 2006 has been promoted from his position as Corporate Evangelist within the company. He will be based at Digital Vision’s headquarters in Stockholm and will represent the company’s entire software based product portfolios worldwide.
Before joining Digital Vision, Germain spent a number of years working in the high-end post production environment both in the UK, the USA and Australia in prominent roles with companies including Avid, Quantel, Eyeon and ROOT6. Germain will report to Digital Vision’s CTO Patrik Alm.
As part of the reorganization Chris Steel will now focus on the Licensing and OEM business which was launched in 2007 by Steele and has grown to a level where it needs dedicated management. For the baseband processing products such as DVNR and Cifer, Torbjörn Dyrvold will assume all product management responsibilities.
